The greatest problem of Western Christianity - and of many Orthodox also – is that they have 'religionized' Christianity and have turned the Church into a religion. In this way, they cultivated fundamentalisms, hatreds, divisions, a magical perception and relationship with God, also a competitive disposition of one towards another, a self-centered view of life, a utilitarian and self-benefiting perception of society, an imaginary interpretation of everything, the sentimental approach to living and generally the opinion that the others comprise – and are - a threat to our existence.

Official Jubilee Weekend Report (Orthobel)
The Annual Gathering of the 'Orthodox Youth of Belgium' took place from 16 till 18 October, 2009 in 'De Kluis', Sint-Joris-Weert (near Leuven). The very theme of the gathering was "Keep thy mind in hell, and despair not", a significant sentence of Saint Silouan the Athonite.

Επετειακό Σαβ/κο 30 χρόνων OJB-JOB
Αξιότιμοι πατέρες,
Αγαπητοί φίλοι,
Ιδρυθείσα το 1979 απο τον π.Dominique Verbeke, και εμπνευσμένη απο τον π. Ραφαήλ Νόϊκα, η ορθόδοξη νεολαία Βελγίου (ΟJB-JOB) γιορτάζει φέτος τα 30 χρόνια παρουσίας της. Ως εκ τούτου οργανώνουμε ένα επετειακό Σαβ/κο απο 16 Οκτωβρίου (Παρασκευή απόγευμα) έως 18 Οκτωβρίου στο Sint-Joris-Weert, κοντά στις Βρυξέλλες.
Το θέμα του Σαβ/κου θα είναι:
"Κράτα την ψυχή σου στον Άδη και μην απελπίζεσαι"

Jubilee Weekend @ St-Joris-Weert
Founded in 1979 by Fr. Dominique Verbeke, inspired by Fr. Rafail Noica, The Orthodoxe Youth in Belgium (OJB-JOB) celebrates its 30 years of existence. Therefore, we organise a Jubilee weekend from October 16 (Friday evening) to 18 at "de Kluis" at Sint-Joris-Weert, near Brussels.
The weekend's theme is "Keep Your Mind in Hell, and Despair Not".
