Saint Nicholas is real!

"Sinterklaas, who doesn't know him (in Belgium and the Netherlands)?"















Who was St. Nicholas really? This is how he looks on our icons. What heas this saint to do with our customs of putting a shoe at the chimney, "pepernoten", his bag, presents, etc?

Curious too? In that case, join the OJN (Orthodox Youth in the Netherlands) on Sunday December 13th at the Catharijneconvent Museum at Utrecht!

Costs: 15 euro entrance (5 euro with a "Museumkaart") including a drink afterwards.
Register: please send an e-mail befor Thursday December 10th if you want to join?
Route: the museum is at 15 min. walking from the Utrecht Central Railway Station.
